To ensure the best experience for all our guests, we kindly ask you to review our salon policies below:
Arrival & Courtesy
Please arrive 10 minutes early for your appointment. Kindly set your phone to silent to maintain a calm environment for all clients.
Quotes & Pricing
New clients will receive a quote prior to service.
Our prices reflect each stylist’s education and experience. All prices are in AUD and subject to change without notice or after consultation.
Deposits & Payment
A 30%–50% deposit is now required for all bookings. New clients must pay a 50% deposit.
We accept cash, EFTPOS, all major cards, Zip Pay and Afterpay.
Cancellations & No-Shows
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
Changes within 48 hours will result in a 30%–50% cancellation fee.
In cases of illness or caring for a minor, your deposit may be transferred once to another appointment within 2 weeks. Any further changes will result in forfeiture.
No-shows will be charged 100% of the service cost. This must be paid before future bookings can be made. Repeat no-shows may be permanently banned.
Running Late
If you’re running late, please let us know. Arrivals later than 15 minutes may result in cancellation, loss of deposit, and application of a no-show fee.
Special Bookings
Colour corrections and Christmas bookings require a 50% non-refundable, non-transferable deposit.
Appointments outside standard trading hours will incur a 15% surcharge and must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Children in the Salon
Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times for safety and consideration of other guests.
Behaviour
Rude, aggressive, or violent behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal and a permanent ban from the salon.
Sustainable Practices
A $3 sustainability fee is added to all invoices to support Sustainable Salons Australia, helping us recycle hair, metals, plastics, and more. Visit sustainablesalons.org for details.
Feedback & Complaints
Please contact us within 7 days if you are unhappy with your service so we can address your concerns.

Refunds & Exchanges
No refunds are offered for change of mind on services. Retail products may be exchanged within 14 days if unopened and unused.
Gift Vouchers
Valid for 36 months from the date of purchase. No refunds for unused or expired vouchers.

Hair By I realises some people are unsure about entering their personal details into websites over the Internet. Below, we explain how we use your information and how we protect your privacy. Hair By I and its associated companies respect and protect your right to privacy in relation to your interactions with this website. Any information which is provided by you to Hair By I via this website or otherwise will be treated in accordance with the terms of the Data Protection Acts, 1988 and 2003 and/or such amending or replacement legislation as may be adopted in Ireland from time to time.
INFORMATION REQUIRED TO PROCESS YOUR BOOKING
For us to process a booking for you, we require some information from you. This includes your name, your phone number, address and email address. Also, since we confirm your booking while you are on the site, we require your credit or debit card details so we can guarantee your booking when you pay your deposit.
WHO SEES YOUR INFORMATION
We are required to send your information to the salon with which you booked salon services so that the salon knows who you are and when you will use its salon services. We give your name, your phone number, your address and your email address and of course, the details of your booking. The salon requires this information to accept a confirmed booking from you. All salons on whose behalf we facilitate bookings have agreed to the Hair By I terms and conditions and accept this privacy policy.
SECURITY
All sensitive information exchanged between your computer and our site is encrypted using SSL. Our SSL Cert. is provided by Verisign. This ensures that your information is transmitted securely and is safe from third parties.
You should be aware that where you link to another web site from this web site, that Hair By I has no control over that other web site. Accordingly, Hair By I cannot guarantee that the controller of that web site will respect your privacy in the same manner as Hair By I.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We only use your email address for sending you a confirmation of your bookings or to contact you for any reason directly linked to your booking, or occasionally to inform you of new features on Hair By I. We only use your phone number to contact you urgently if there is a problem with your booking.
You have the right to request a copy of the information which we hold about you (for which we may charge you a small fee) and to have inaccuracies in the information corrected.
On occasions, we may supply statistics about our customers to third-parties such as salons or salon service providers. These statistics never contain personally identifying information.
